Data Analyst - customer trends (Birmingham, AL)

Bluepeak Yarrow Hospitality Partners operates hotels and event venues around Birmingham. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in food costs and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on supplier orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
