Data Analyst - customer trends (Birmingham, AL)

Northwind Granite Financial is a financial-services company in Birmingham, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in customer onboarding and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on payment disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
