Data Analyst - customer trends (Birmingham, AL)

Westbrook Umber Banking Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for card disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 250 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in card disputes and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on loan files. • Python or R for analysis.
