Data Analyst - customer trends (Birmingham, AL)

Clearpath Ridge Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Birmingham plant. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in machine downtime and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
