Data Analyst - customer trends (Birmingham, AL)

Northwind Stone Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Birmingham. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in customer sites and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on contractor visits. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
