Data Analyst - customer trends (Baltimore, MD)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Wren Hospitality and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in supplier orders and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on housekeeping schedules. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
