Data Analyst - customer trends (Baltimore, MD)

Foxglove Kestrel Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Baltimore. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 947 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer complaints. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
