Data Analyst - customer trends (Baltimore, MD)

Greenridge Beacon Water Authority is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in meter reading and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on pipe repairs. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
