Data Analyst - customer trends (Baltimore, MD)

Greenridge Orchard Transit Planning Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in route schedules and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on fare systems. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
