Data Analyst - customer trends (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Thistle Markets and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Investigate trends in pricing and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
