Data Analyst - customer trends (Austin, TX)

Bluepeak Ridge Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Austin region. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in vehicle inspections and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on service appointments. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
