Data Analyst - customer trends (Austin, TX)

Redstone Ember Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Austin. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in warranty claims and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on vehicle inspections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
