Data Analyst - customer trends (Atlanta, GA)

Fernwood Pine Community Partners is a nonprofit in Atlanta supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Investigate trends in donor records and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on grant reporting. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
