Data Analyst - customer trends (Anchorage, AK)

Highbridge Timber Community Partners is a Anchorage charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in food distribution and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on grant reporting. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
