Data Analyst - customer trends (Anchorage, AK)

Bright Keystone Freight is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 104 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in claims and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on loads and lanes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
