Customer Support Representative - phone and chat support (Richmond, VA)

Greenridge West Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Richmond. We are hiring a Customer Support Representative to take on phone and chat support. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Share recurring problems with the team so they can be fixed. • Escalate complex cases with all details attached. • Answer questions by phone, email and chat in a friendly and clear way. • Document every interaction and follow up when you promise to. • Resolve billing and account issues, including billing disputes, on the first contact when possible. What we are looking for • One or more years in customer service. • Clear spoken and written communication. • Patience with people who are stressed or upset. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
