Customer Support Representative - phone and chat support (remote)

Rivermark Forge Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Portland region. We are hiring a Customer Support Representative to take on phone and chat support. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Answer questions by phone, email and chat in a friendly and clear way. • Resolve billing and account issues, including service connections, on the first contact when possible. • Share recurring problems with the team so they can be fixed. • Escalate complex cases with all details attached. • Document every interaction and follow up when you promise to. What we are looking for • Patience with people who are stressed or upset. • Clear spoken and written communication. • One or more years in customer service. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Bilingual English and Spanish. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
