Customer Support Representative - phone and chat support (Portland, OR)

Fernwood West Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Portland focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Customer Support Representative to take on phone and chat support. You would join a small organisation of about 116 people based in Portland. What you will do • Share recurring problems with the team so they can be fixed. • Escalate complex cases with all details attached. • Resolve billing and account issues, including service installations, on the first contact when possible. • Document every interaction and follow up when you promise to. • Answer questions by phone, email and chat in a friendly and clear way. What we are looking for • Clear spoken and written communication. • Patience with people who are stressed or upset. • One or more years in customer service. Nice to have • Experience with service installations. • Bilingual English and Spanish. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
