Customer Support Representative - phone and chat support (Oakland, CA)

Rivermark Sparrow Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Oakland area. We are hiring a Customer Support Representative to take on phone and chat support. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Answer questions by phone, email and chat in a friendly and clear way. • Escalate complex cases with all details attached. • Document every interaction and follow up when you promise to. • Resolve billing and account issues, including billing accounts, on the first contact when possible. • Share recurring problems with the team so they can be fixed. What we are looking for • Clear spoken and written communication. • One or more years in customer service. • Patience with people who are stressed or upset. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
