Customer Support Representative - phone and chat support (Nashville, TN)

Fernwood West Freight is looking for a Customer Support Representative. The job centres on phone and chat support for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 921 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Share recurring problems with the team so they can be fixed. • Answer questions by phone, email and chat in a friendly and clear way. • Escalate complex cases with all details attached. • Resolve billing and account issues, including carrier rates, on the first contact when possible. • Document every interaction and follow up when you promise to. What we are looking for • Clear spoken and written communication. • Patience with people who are stressed or upset. • One or more years in customer service. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
