Customer Support Representative - phone and chat support (Columbus, OH)

Redstone Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Columbus area, and we need a Customer Support Representative to lead our phone and chat support. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Share recurring problems with the team so they can be fixed. • Document every interaction and follow up when you promise to. • Answer questions by phone, email and chat in a friendly and clear way. • Escalate complex cases with all details attached. • Resolve billing and account issues, including meter reading, on the first contact when possible. What we are looking for • Clear spoken and written communication. • Patience with people who are stressed or upset. • One or more years in customer service. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Bilingual English and Spanish. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
