Customer Support Representative - phone and chat support (Chicago, IL)

Amberfield Ember Manufacturing makes precision components in Chicago, and we need a Customer Support Representative to lead our phone and chat support. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Document every interaction and follow up when you promise to. • Escalate complex cases with all details attached. • Resolve billing and account issues, including work orders, on the first contact when possible. • Share recurring problems with the team so they can be fixed. • Answer questions by phone, email and chat in a friendly and clear way. What we are looking for • One or more years in customer service. • Clear spoken and written communication. • Patience with people who are stressed or upset. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
