Customer Support Representative - phone and chat support (Birmingham, AL)

Amberfield Maple Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Birmingham plant, and we need a Customer Support Representative to lead our phone and chat support. You would join a large organisation of about 872 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Resolve billing and account issues, including proofing, on the first contact when possible. • Share recurring problems with the team so they can be fixed. • Document every interaction and follow up when you promise to. • Answer questions by phone, email and chat in a friendly and clear way. • Escalate complex cases with all details attached. What we are looking for • Patience with people who are stressed or upset. • One or more years in customer service. • Clear spoken and written communication. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with proofing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
