Customer Support Representative - new-customer onboarding (remote)

Foxglove West Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Oakland region. We are hiring a Customer Support Representative to take on new-customer onboarding. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Document every interaction and follow up when you promise to. • Share recurring problems with the team so they can be fixed. • Answer questions by phone, email and chat in a friendly and clear way. • Resolve billing and account issues, including service connections, on the first contact when possible. • Escalate complex cases with all details attached. What we are looking for • One or more years in customer service. • Patience with people who are stressed or upset. • Clear spoken and written communication. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
