Customer Support Representative - new-customer onboarding (New Orleans, LA)

Lumen Linden Civic Services Group supports public agencies in New Orleans with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Customer Support Representative to take on new-customer onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 113 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Share recurring problems with the team so they can be fixed. • Document every interaction and follow up when you promise to. • Resolve billing and account issues, including budget submissions, on the first contact when possible. • Escalate complex cases with all details attached. • Answer questions by phone, email and chat in a friendly and clear way. What we are looking for • Patience with people who are stressed or upset. • Clear spoken and written communication. • One or more years in customer service. Nice to have • Experience with budget submissions. • Bilingual English and Spanish. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
