Customer Support Representative - new-customer onboarding (Detroit, MI)

Ironwood Cedar Foods Partners is a Detroit food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Customer Support Representative to take on new-customer onboarding. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Resolve billing and account issues, including cold storage, on the first contact when possible. • Escalate complex cases with all details attached. • Answer questions by phone, email and chat in a friendly and clear way. • Document every interaction and follow up when you promise to. • Share recurring problems with the team so they can be fixed. What we are looking for • Clear spoken and written communication. • Patience with people who are stressed or upset. • One or more years in customer service. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Bilingual English and Spanish. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
