Customer Support Representative - new-customer onboarding (Des Moines, IA)

Cedar Union Civic Services Group provides shared administrative services to local governments around Des Moines, and we need a Customer Support Representative to lead our new-customer onboarding. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Resolve billing and account issues, including public records, on the first contact when possible. • Answer questions by phone, email and chat in a friendly and clear way. • Share recurring problems with the team so they can be fixed. • Document every interaction and follow up when you promise to. • Escalate complex cases with all details attached. What we are looking for • Clear spoken and written communication. • One or more years in customer service. • Patience with people who are stressed or upset. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with public records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
