Customer Support Representative - billing questions (Chicago, IL)

Northwind Meadow Housing Group is a nonprofit housing provider in Chicago, and we need a Customer Support Representative to lead our billing questions. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Answer questions by phone, email and chat in a friendly and clear way. • Resolve billing and account issues, including lease compliance, on the first contact when possible. • Escalate complex cases with all details attached. • Share recurring problems with the team so they can be fixed. • Document every interaction and follow up when you promise to. What we are looking for • Clear spoken and written communication. • Patience with people who are stressed or upset. • One or more years in customer service. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with lease compliance. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
