Fernwood Meridian Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around St. Louis. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on website copy. Benefits and stability attract long tenure. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about permits. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
