Content Writer - website copy (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight North Insurance and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be website copy. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about premium billing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
