Content Writer - website copy (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Bright Insurance and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be website copy. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about policy renewals. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with policy renewals. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
