Content Writer - website copy (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Sparrow Energy and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be website copy. You would join a large organisation of about 398 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about meter readings. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
