Content Writer - website copy (Rochester, NY)

Redstone Granite Community Partners is a Rochester charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Content Writer to lead our website copy. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about grant reporting. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with grant reporting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
