Content Writer - website copy (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Northwind Vale Water Authority and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be website copy. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Reno. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about water quality. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
