Rivermark Orchard Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Reno. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on website copy. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about service alerts. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
