Content Writer - website copy (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Junction Housing Partners and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be website copy. You would join a small organisation of about 198 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about rent assistance. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with rent assistance. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
