Content Writer - website copy (remote)

Cedar Forge Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around San Jose, and we need a Content Writer to lead our website copy. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about survey data. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
