Cedar Wren Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around New Orleans, and we need a Content Writer to lead our website copy. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about service connections. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
