Content Writer - website copy (remote)

Summit Fern Arts Center is an arts centre in Portland with a full calendar of events, and we need a Content Writer to lead our website copy. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about school partnerships. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with school partnerships. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
