Content Writer - website copy (remote)

Fernwood Juniper Transit Planning Associates is a transit-planning firm in Portland working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on website copy. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about service alerts. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
