Content Writer - website copy (remote)

Ironwood Birch Energy is an energy provider in St. Louis focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Content Writer to lead our website copy. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about hardship programmes. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
