Content Writer - website copy (remote)

Amberfield Cobalt Community Partners is a nonprofit in Chicago supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Content Writer to lead our website copy. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about client intake. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with client intake. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
