Content Writer - website copy (remote)

Cedar Umber Legal Group is a Madison practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff, and we need a Content Writer to lead our website copy. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about court deadlines. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with court deadlines. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
