Amberfield Willow Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Virginia Beach. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on website copy. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about catastrophe response. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
