Content Writer - website copy (remote)

Stonegate Mill Energy is looking for a Content Writer. The job centres on website copy for service connections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about service connections. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
