Content Writer - website copy (remote)

Ironwood Fern Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Anchorage. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on website copy. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about permits. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
