Northwind Beacon Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Louisville and nearby communities, and we need a Content Writer to lead our website copy. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about water quality. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
