Content Writer - website copy (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Vista Press and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be website copy. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about press runs. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
