Content Writer - website copy (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Kestrel Insurance and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be website copy. You would join a large organisation of about 919 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about catastrophe response. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
