Content Writer - website copy (remote)

We are growing our team at Silverline Beacon Insurance and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be website copy. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about customer complaints. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
